The Great Canadian VI (6) Day Trial - GoldRiver ‘27

This is the entry for the 2027 Great Canadian VI (6) Day Trial also known as GoldRiver ‘27.   There is a discount for early entry, reducing in stages.
The event will follow the established VIME/GoldRiver format of two classes, competitive roadbook navigation with GPS Richta timing and an Adventure class navigating by Gaia GPS mapping.
Both classes follow the same route, although bypasses for tricky bits will be highlighted for the Adventure riders who wont have the same agility as riders on smaller lighter bikes.
There will be an event bivouac as well as “roofed” accommodation in Gold River.  Event participants will make their own accommodation arrangements.
The event will comprise stages that may include a one-day, day-night-day and a three day moto-Malle (bike-packing) stages.   Expect to visit parts of the north of Vancouver Island (VI) that are out of reach for one-day trips.
