The aggregated results from day two left at least three riders in a potential winning position, much depending on who makes the most mistakes - or the fewest…
Kelly Whitehouse won day 2 and took home a Half Moon Motorcycles tee shirt, a motorcycle workshop in Qualicum Bay, Vancouver Island.
The day three course intentionally built technical difficulty onto the previous two days. The route began again with a tricky uphill before opening out into broad valley vistas before moving on to a majestic mountain section followed by a nadgery forest section. 150km, dusty kms…
A lottery was drawn to decide the start, Owen Partaik started first - conventionally the least advantageous start position, especially on the last day.
Intermediate scores were unavailable which meant the result wasn’t available until the finish line.
While riders returned, finished riders enjoyed a beer and burger meanwhile.
Sasha Sabinin crunched the numbers and a winner emerged.
Third Place, Neil Barbisan from Italy via Whistler.
Second place, Christian Pelletier from Quebec via Reno Nevada.
First Place, Owen Partaik from Vancouver via BC Ferries.


So we have our winner. Actually everyone was a winner as all have had a great weekend.
