One of Peter’s claims to fame is the he records and produces video documentaries of his motorcycling adventures - including his outings on the GoldRiver Rallies.
I am endebted to Peter for producing these documentaries of days one, two and three and allowing me to share them here.
Peter accurately captures the spirit and camaraderie of the GoldRiver Rally as well as the grandeur of the mountain ranges of the north island. If you have wondered about the degree of difficulty posed on these routes, his video documentaries amply illustrate the terrain you can expect to encounter.

The Great Canadian (motorcycle) Roadbook Rally - GoldRiver ‘26…
The event will run from Canada Day Wednesday 1 July 2026 (early arrivals and setting up), Thursday 2nd (possible riding clinic/navig class/hillclimb), Rally Friday Saturday and Sunday, go home Sunday afternoon for work on Monday or chill and chew around a campfire until breaking camp on Monday 6 July.
Entry limit 50 riders.
